Coaching

With decades of experience as a school counsellor and health and wellbeing advocate, my role is to partner with people and make a connection, listen deeply and without judgment and to provide support and accountability. I want my clients to tap into their inner motivation to make long lasting and positive personal change.

Adolescent Coaching

How can your teen feel empowered to become a resilient and best version of themselves? As an adolescent coach, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to support young adults (ages from 13-20) to discover their innate potential to be confident, resilient and self-manage. Adolescent coaching is a proactive approach to teen wellbeing and can benefit teens by helping them find motivation, manage their stress, navigate personal relationships and transitions, and give them a better understanding of this complex developmental stage.

Adolescent coaching is a holistic, non-judgmental approach that helps teens develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and academically. I work with young people to identify their expectations and their desired outcomes, and empower them to move from where they are to where they want to be.

Parent Coaching

How can you successfully navigate the challenges of parenting and provide your teen the positive foundation they need? I draw on the teachings of positive psychology and Positive Discipline™ to guide parents through their parenting journey. I work mostly with parents of tweens/teens as this developmental stage can often take parents by surprise. Who are these young people and how do we respond to them? Our reactions to their need for independence may not be what we would like them to be. A parent coach can step in during these times, help parents manage expectations and offer support to create and facilitate positive changes within the family dynamic.

There is no “one solution fits all approach” to parenting, and I recognize that you know your children best and are the experts when it comes to your children. I will partner closely with you, from a place of non-judgment and empowerment, taking into account your experiences, identity, values and situation.

Health Coaching for Adults

What is it that you want your body and mind to do for you? Where do you see yourself at this moment in time with your health goals and where would you like to be a year from now, five years from now? My role is to partner with clients, listen deeply, and provide support and accountability, allowing you to tap into your inner motivation to make long-lasting personal change.

Similar to an athletic coach, I am here to support you and guide you to reach your goals, but, unlike an athletic coach providing the plays, you will lead the process based on what you’d like to achieve. Health coaching builds self-efficacy—the belief in your ability to accomplish your goals and can benefit anyone willing to dig deep and explore what parts of their health they’d like to improve.
